Think of it this way. If you’re spending £80 - £100 on a salon colouring service you’d want it to last. So if you start using £5 shampoo on your brand new colour, which contains sulphates, salt (both harsh cleansers by the way) your new colour is getting washed down the drain. 😰

Plus the cheap ones get filled up with all sorts so they can sell in bigger quantities to make more £. Professional products are designed to work with your hair so your colour lasts longer and the biggest part.. a £5 shampoo will last around 3-4 weeks, a professional one will last 3-4 months (because you don’t need big handfuls for it to work) do the maths 🧮
