Try this Technique when working through your UNDERCUT..
Six inches gone ✂️✨
Today I transformed my daughter’s super long hair by taking off a full 6 inches and completely reshaping it using a modern dry-cutting technique.
No wet cut.
No old-school heavy graduation.
Instead, I detailed the perimeter with the clippers (yes… clippers 👀), removed all the graduation, blow-dried it smooth, straightened it out and then carefully took the weight out to reduce bulk and thickness against the body.
The result?
✔️ Cleaner shape
✔️ Lighter movement
✔️ Less heaviness through the ends
✔️ A much more modern finish
Dry cutting allows you to see exactly how the hair sits naturally — especially when you’re refining shape and reducing density without compromising length.
Sometimes it’s not about going shorter… it’s about going smarter.
