It’s completely normal.

Especially with Powder Brows and Combo Brows, soft shading creates more coverage than individual hair strokes, so the brows naturally appear more defined immediately after treatment.

The pigment is carefully chosen for how it will heal beneath your skin, not how it looks on the surface today. As your skin heals, the colour softens and settles into the result we planned together.

Some pigment also sits on the surface of the skin during the procedure. As this naturally sheds over the following days, the brows become softer and more natural.

8(almost 9)years ago, I began my SPMU journey in Hong Kong.

In 2022,I move to the UK with family and start a brand-new chapter.

Moving to the UK meant starting from zero again. Different faces, different cultures, different beauty standards—but the same passion for creating brows that truly belong to the person wearing them.

It wasn’t always easy, but looking back, I’m so grateful for every single person I’ve met along the way.

You may think I simply create brows, but you’ve given me so much more than that.

Through every conversation, every smile, and every story you’ve shared, you’ve helped me grow—not only as an artist, but as a person.

I’ve learnt that beauty isn’t just about how we look. It’s about trust, confidence, kindness, and human connection. Those are the things that have made this journey so meaningful.

This lovely client first came to see me for a consultation.

We talked about her preferences, her daily brow routine, and what she hoped to achieve. Together, we assessed her brows, created a bespoke design, and by the end of the consultation, she was already smiling.

Today was finally her treatment day.

When we finished, she told me how much she’d been looking forward to it. What touched me most wasn’t just her excitement—it was how well prepared she was. Many people choose a brow colour based on what they like at the time.

But semi-permanent makeup isn’t quite the same as makeup.

Pigment heals within the skin, not on top of it. This means the colour you see immediately after treatment isn’t the colour you’ll see once it’s fully healed.
That’s why the chosen pigment is often slightly deeper than the desired healed result.

Factors such as your skin tone, undertone, skin type and even age can all influence how the colour settles over time.

It often comes down to proportion.

When designing brows, I don’t just look at the brows alone — I look at how they balance with your eyes, forehead, bone structure and overall face shape.

Because the wrong proportion can change how the whole face looks.

For example:
A fuller face with very thin brows can sometimes make the face appear even larger.
And brows that are too heavy for delicate features can overpower the face.

It’s all about balance.

That’s also why fuller brows are often linked to a more youthful look.
If you notice children’s brows, they’re usually naturally fuller, softer and balanced with the face.

As we age, brows often become thinner and sparser — which can make features look more tired.
