God help me … I’m packing AGAIN! 🧳😂

But plot twist…

This time, it’s for ME. ❤️

No, I’m not embarking on a university course - although after the last few weeks I do feel I’ve earned at least a degree in People Management, Logistics & Emergency Student Relocation. 🎓😂

The kids are settled.
Their studies are beginning.
The frantic moving, organising, rescuing, sorting and “Muuuuum…” moments are quietening down.

And I can finally breathe. 🥹

There’s definitely an undertone of missing them terribly - I suspect that bit isn’t going anywhere - but amongst all the emotions, I’ve realised something…

A new chapter is beginning for me too.

For such a long time, so much of who I am has been wrapped up in being Mum. And now, while I’ll obviously never stop being their Mum (or their emergency logistics department 😂), there’s suddenly a little more space to rediscover me.

What do I want to do?
Where do I want to go?
What makes me happy?

I genuinely have no idea yet…

and I think that might be half the fun. ❤️

So consider this fair warning to everyone who knows me:

There WILL be random excursions.
There WILL be spontaneous invitations to do completely off-the-wall things.
There WILL be shenanigans. 😂

And there will almost certainly be some questionable new hobbies that last approximately five minutes after I’ve bought ALL the gear. 🤦‍♀️😂

Basically, if you know me, there’s a very good chance you’re getting roped into something at some point.

Mom Unleashed: The Shenanigans Era has begun. 😂❤️

But first…

I’m starting this new chapter in the most sensible way possible:

I’m disappearing for a week to lie in the sunshine. ☀️🍹

I think I’ve earned this little reset.

A week to stop.
To breathe.
To relax.
And perhaps start figuring out what comes next.

Then I’ll be back at Spaburbia rested, recharged, full of energy… and probably with a tale or two to tell!

So, a little heads-up to my lovely clients: I have VERY limited appointment space remaining before I disappear. If you were planning to see me, now is the time to grab one of those last spaces — or get your appointment secured for when I’m back before the diary fills up. ❤️

The suitcases have barely been put away…

…and here I am packing another one.
