Less really can be more when it comes to lip filler 👄

A small amount of carefully placed dermal filler can enhance your natural shape, improve symmetry and restore lost volume without looking overdone. The goal isn’t always bigger lips… it’s creating soft, balanced results that still look like you, just a little more refreshed.

One of my biggest regrets from my twenties was using sunbeds and tanning without sun protection. I was obsessed with being tanned and ignored every warning about UV damage.

Since becoming an aesthetic injector, I’ve learnt that sun damage ages the skin FAR QUICKER than injectables can reverse it. So if you want healthy, youthful skin long term, daily SPF is essential, even on cloudy days. If the skin is not healthy, your aesthetic treatments won’t be as good, and that’s a fact 💯

I personally love Eucerin Anti-Pigment SPF50+ because it’s lightweight, non-greasy and sits perfectly under makeup. I now wear SPF every day on my face, neck and hands.

Products such as tretinoin can also help fade sun damage over time by supporting collagen production and increasing skin cell turnover. The difference between the skin I’ve treated consistently with tretinoin for the last decade (face and neck) and other areas exposed to years of UV damage (my arms for example) is very noticeable now I’m 37.

If sharing my experience helps even one person protect their skin earlier, it’s worth it 🩷

In my thirties now I’ve also had two moles removed under a dermatologist because of suspected changes related to skin cancer. It makes me wish so badly that I hadn’t been such a wally when I was younger! It’s fake tan now for me all the way!

She’s already gorgeous, but a small bit of dermal filler to the piriform fossa and a 0.5ml touch up in her lips have made her even more gorgeous 🩷

There’s nothing more rewarding than hearing how confident and happy a client feels after their treatment. Receiving feedback like this is a reminder that aesthetic medicine is about so much more than enhancing features… it’s about helping people feel like the very best version of themselves.

Every appointment is built on trust, and I’m so grateful to each client who chooses me to be part of their journey. Your kind words, support, and confidence mean more than you know 🫶🏻

Why patch testing Hyaluronidase is so important before dissolving filler:

Hyaluronidase is an enzyme used to break down hyaluronic acid filler, allowing us to safely dissolve unwanted, migrated, or overfilled areas.

While it’s an incredibly useful and widely used treatment, it’s important to understand that it is still a protein-based substance… meaning allergic reactions are possible.

📊 Studies show that allergic reactions to Hyaluronidase occur in approximately 0.05%–0.69% of patients (that’s less than 1%, but not zero).

Most reactions are mild and local (redness, swelling, itching), but in rare cases, more severe hypersensitivity or even anaphylaxis can occur!

✨ This is why patch testing is ESSENTIAL before treatment ✨

• It allows us to identify any sensitivity before injecting larger amounts into the face
• It significantly reduces the risk of unexpected reactions during your appointment
• It helps us plan safely, or avoid treatment entirely if needed

Your safety will always come before results 👩🏻‍⚕️
