A little look inside the treatment room 🌿

This is the DÉCAAR Algae Peel and when people hear the word peel, they often immediately think of strong acids and aggressively stripping away layers of skin.

But not all peels work in the same way.

The DÉCAAR Algae Peel is one of the advanced skin treatments I use when I want to support skin renewal and work with concerns such as uneven texture, congestion, pigmentation and post-acne marks.

But here's the important bit...

Not everybody needs a peel.

Good skin treatments aren't about choosing the strongest option available.

They're about understanding your skin and choosing an approach that's appropriate for where your skin is right now.

That's something you'll hear me talk about much more as I share more of my advanced skin work.

Not every skin needs the same treatment 🌿

One of the things I'm becoming even more passionate about is treating the skin in front of me rather than following trends or taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

The Deep Phyto treatment is one of the DÉCAAR treatments I've introduced into the clinic and gives me another option when creating a treatment plan around your individual skin.

Before recommending an advanced treatment, I want to understand your skin, what you're currently using at home and what we're actually trying to achieve.

Sometimes your skin is ready for something more advanced.

Sometimes it needs something completely different.

And knowing the difference is just as important as the treatment itself.

Well… I’ve won an award! 🏆🤍

I’m so happy to share that Sarah Jayne Skin Face Body has been named Facial Massage Salon of the Year West Midlands 2026/27 in the Prestige Awards.

After 23 years in the industry, this one feels particularly special because facial massage and hands-on therapy have become such a huge part of what I love doing.

Over the last few years I’ve continued to develop my skills in advanced facial massage, facial remodelling and Buccal Massage, helping clients with everything from facial and jaw tension to creating that much needed space to slow down, switch off and recharge.

It’s just me, working from my little treatment room in Bentley Heath, doing something I genuinely love, so to be recognised for my facial massage work across the West Midlands really does mean a lot. 🥹

And a massive thank you to all of my lovely clients who support me, trust me with your faces 😂, recommend me and take the time to leave such wonderful reviews. You’re a huge part of this too.

This is DÉCAAR's CO₂ Revelation treatment, one of the advanced skin treatments I've recently added to my treatment menu.
It's a very different approach from the Algae Peel I shared recently, which is exactly why having different treatment options matters.
Rather than choosing a facial simply because it's popular, I want to look at your skin, your concerns and what we're trying to achieve.

That's also where I'm gradually taking my treatment menu.

More bespoke.

More considered.

This is where my hands-on work becomes completely individual.

No two faces hold tension in exactly the same way.

One client may hold considerably more tension through the jaw.

Another may need more work through the neck, scalp or facial muscles.

And sometimes the body simply needs permission to soften and switch off.

My approach to advanced facial massage brings together the techniques I've trained in over the years, including facial remodelling, sculpting and Buccal massage, allowing me to adapt the treatment to the person in front of me.

It's one of the reasons I'm so passionate about working with the face as a whole rather than simply following the same routine for everyone.
