Sorry Simon, but I said what I said. She needs what she needs 🤣
Autumn is here, and so is your skin reset. 🍂
Now is the perfect time to get consistent, target the concerns that have been bothering you, and start working towards healthier, stronger, glowing skin.
Because the summer glow you want next year starts with what you do this autumn. ✨
Microneedling is one of the most misunderstood treatments in clinic.
Here are 6 things I wish more people knew 👇🏼
1. Deeper does NOT always mean better
The correct depth depends on the area being treated, skin condition and treatment goal. More trauma doesn’t automatically mean better results.
2. Bleeding is not the goal
Pinpoint bleeding can happen, but seeing lots of blood does not mean the treatment has “worked better”.
3. One session usually isn’t enough
Microneedling works by stimulating a gradual repair response within the skin. For concerns like scarring, texture or ageing, a course is often needed.
4. More passes doesn’t mean more collagen
Overworking the skin can create unnecessary inflammation and compromise the skin barrier. Technique matters just as much as the device.
5. Microneedling isn’t suitable for everyone
Active acne, impaired skin barriers, certain pigmentation concerns and some medical conditions may mean treatment needs to be delayed or adapted.
6. The treatment itself is only part of the result
Correct skin preparation, products used during treatment, aftercare and what you do between appointments can make a huge difference to your outcome.
Microneedling should never be a one-size-fits-all treatment.
Your skin, your concerns and your treatment plan should determine exactly how it’s performed. ✨
Just saying ladies… two birds with one stone 🤣✨
