With so many new faces joining me recently and to mark 6 months at the house of calm, I thought it was the perfect time to say hello and reflect.

My name is Donna Kennedy, and I’m the founder of DLK Aesthetics, based within the beautiful House of Calm in South Shields.

I’m an Advanced Nurse Prescriber with over 14 years of NHS experience, and caring for people has always been at the heart of everything I do. My nursing background has given me the knowledge, clinical judgement and patient-centred approach that I bring into every single appointment.

When I created DLK Aesthetics, my vision was simple: to provide a safe, welcoming space where clients feel listened to, respected and never pressured. Whether you’re visiting for your very first treatment or you’ve been with me from the beginning, my priority is always to create natural, balanced results that help you feel like the best version of yourself.

I believe that aesthetics is about so much more than treatments. It’s about building trust, taking the time to understand your concerns, educating you on your options, and ensuring you leave feeling confident in every decision you make.
