Comparing builder gel and hard gel
Building gel is a softer more flexible gel suitable for clients who like short-medium length nails, it still provides strength to your nails making it a good option for a lot of clients but itβs not as strong as hard gel. Itβs removed from the nail by soaking with acetone.
Hard gel is a better product to use if you want to have medium-long nails or if youβre heavy handed. Itβs also a good alternative if builder gel isnβt working for you. Hard gel is NOT a soak off product, it is filed and buffed down as much as safely possible.
Choosing the right gel product for you will depend on your lifestyle, nail length preference or natural nail strength or condition π€βοΈ
