So why are those dark bits more stubborn? 🖤
The darker areas usually contain more concentrated/deeper ink, meaning the laser has more pigment to break down. Tattoo ink can also sit at different depths within the skin, so it doesn’t always fade evenly. The laser breaks the pigment down gradually, and your body then clears those tiny ink particles away over time.
At this stage, we’re getting into the stubborn end of the removal process — but there’s still visible pigment to work on.
