🍦 VANILLA, BUT MAKE IT BRIGHTER ✨
A few months on from her balayage and it was time to bring the brightness back — this time going bolder, brighter and more vanilla all over, while keeping that gorgeous softness at the root 🤍
We added super-fine lights through the root for a seamless blend and lifted throughout using BlondorPlex, creating maximum brightness without losing that soft, lived-in feel.

A little update from me… ✨
From January, I’ll no longer be taking on any new hair clients. I’ll continue looking after my existing clients, and if any new appointments become available, I’ll be sure to let you know. 🤍
For anyone looking for a new stylist, you’ll be in very safe hands. We have 6 amazing colourists and stylists in the salon who are incredibly talented and ready to help you create a colour and style you’ll love. ✨
Moving forward, I’ll also be focusing more of my time on seeing patients with hair loss and scalp concerns, offering a more specialised and supportive service.
Appointments are currently available through the Fresha diary and will take place in the salon. However, I completely understand that hair loss can feel very personal, so if you would prefer a more private and discreet appointment, please send me a message and I’ll be happy to arrange this for you. 🤍

Postpartum hair loss — what can actually help? 👩🏽⚕️🫶🏽
As a trichologist, one of the most common concerns I hear from new mums is: “Why am I suddenly losing so much hair?”
Postpartum shedding is usually linked to the hormonal changes that happen after pregnancy, causing more hairs than usual to enter the shedding phase at the same time.
While you can’t always prevent postpartum shedding, there ARE things you can do to support healthy hair growth and minimise additional hair loss:
✨ Make sure you’re getting enough protein and key nutrients
🩸 Consider speaking to your healthcare provider about checking for deficiencies if shedding is excessive or persistent
🫧 Keep your scalp healthy — healthy hair growth starts at the scalp
🔥 Reduce excessive heat, tension and chemical damage while your hair is vulnerable
💆🏽♀️ Be gentle with your hair and focus on retaining the new growth coming through
⏳ Give your hair time — postpartum shedding is often temporary
And most importantly, don’t assume every case of hair loss after having a baby is just postpartum shedding. If it’s severe, prolonged, patchy, or something doesn’t feel right, it’s worth having your hair and scalp properly assessed.
