Wi******er is getting its very own Braid & Tinsel Bar this summer. Come and visit us at West Collaboration 📍 The Square, Wi******er from this Sunday the 19th of July.

So about our Pop Up Braid & Tinsel Bar …

We are offering Express Braids & Hair Tinsel at West.

So different to our usual styles.

More pretty and boho braids so significantly less gel and product. With cuffs and ribbon as complimentary extras.

All braids are £25, last 1-2 days and take approx 15-20 mins.

Tinsel is £49, lasts up to 12 weeks and takes around 45 mins

Both services are for all ages from 4+

Just a little note, if you are after a braid that lasts 1 week or longer, or you want a coloured braid, those need a bit more time so we will be doing those over at our Braid Bar in Bassett, Southampton rather than at the pop-up.

Pre booking and walk in appointments available at West.

I’m so happy to share that we are popping up at West Collaboration in The Square in Wi******er this summer with our Braid and Tinsel Bar.

Have you been to Emma’s new premises yet? Sooo STUNNING!

West is the dream collab for us, for first and even second piercings braided hair allows those piercings to heal with your hair completely out of the way.

AND you get to show off your fabulous new earrings with your hair all braided up.

Personally this collab is a dream for me - stunning venue, iced coffee, smoothies and chilled drinks on tap I am not going to be complaining. (Although the jewellery is so fabulous I’m not sure I’m going to be bringing home ANY money🙈)

Mums & Dads can we talk about our daughters and these slick ponytails?

God help me if she notices every minuscule bump which no one else can see 🙈

She won’t leave the house unless her hair is frozen with Got2b freeze spray and unless her face is snatched with a ponytail so tight she looks like she’s had a mini facelift …

So here’s my go to products to help you achieve the perfect pony :

1. Use a small amount of eco styler to create slip to smooth out any lumps and bumps.
2. Use the appropriate size hairband for the amount of Hair your daughter has, if she’s got a lot of hair you might need to use two hairbands so the ponytail doesn’t slip throughout the day.
3. Use a boar bristle brush to tease out any of the lumps and bumps and scrape that hair smooth into the hairband.
4. After eco Styler you could use a small amount of shine n jam oil based gel which doesn’t dry out and will lock in any baby hairs for the entire day and longer.
5. You can finish with a small amount of Got2B freeeze spray to lock in the style but please use this product sparingly as it’s v strong.
6. Wear a silk bonnet or get yourself a silk pillowcase from to protect the hairstyle so you don’t need to redo it over and over again
7. Encourage her to give her Hair a break throughout the week and not wear this hairstyle every single day it does pull on the root of the hair significantly and can cause tension alopecia if too tight and worn over and over again..
