Right from the start, Wayne Bennett wanted to challenge the barbering industry, he wanted to set standards of the highest mark using his years of experience, along with his individual skills and techniques. He created Bennett Barbers and started to build up a well known and respected business, and the journey began. Along this journey came George Merritt, after taming this growing business for almost a decade, George stepped up, he joined Wayne and together dreamed up a new image... Bennett & Merritt. This business partnership evolved a long time before George brought the "Merritt" into the buiness. George served his time as an apprentice at Bennett Barbers from the tender age of 15, 8 Years on, he has created an individual style and passion for barbering like no other. This combination makes Bennett & Merritt the number 1 barbershop on the south coast
