You don't have to be an athlete to put your body under stress 🌿
Every day we ask a lot of our bodies without really thinking about it.
Carrying the shopping.
Sitting at a desk all day.
Gardening at the weekend.
Walking miles while you're away on holiday.
Swimming. Going to the gym. Chasing after the kids. Even just repeating the same movements day after day.
And sometimes afterwards you notice it — tight calves, stiff shoulders, that annoying tension between your shoulder blades, or muscles that just feel tired and achy.
Sports massage isn't only for sports people.
Treatment at ARC is tailored to you, what you're experiencing and what you'd like to get from your session.

Meet the therapist 🌿

Hi, I'm Amy, the face behind ARC Movement Clinic 👋
I've been fascinated by the human body and how it works for as long as I can remember. I've spent most of my career working with and helping people.

I'm currently studying for my Master of Chiropractic degree, and alongside my studies I decided to complete my Sports Massage qualification to build on my knowledge and understanding of the body. What I didn't expect was just how much I'd love massage in its own right, or how many different ways I could use it to help people.
Somewhere along the way, that turned into ARC Movement Clinic — something I'm really excited to grow alongside my studies.
Outside of ARC and university, life is pretty busy! I'm a mum of two girls and I also work as a teaching assistant, so there's rarely a quiet moment. When I do get one, I'm happiest pottering around in the garden, tackling some kind of DIY project or, most recently, wondering why on earth I thought getting an allotment was a sensible addition to my schedule. 😂🌱
I'm definitely more of a cup-of-tea-in-the-garden person than anything glamorous, which is probably why creating a relaxed, down-to-earth little clinic at home feels very me.
So that's a little bit about the person behind ARC. If you've been following the page, thank you — it's lovely having you here while I build this little venture of mine. 🤍
Amy x
