For a long time, being Mum was my whole identity. 🤍

And I LOVE being a mum. It will always be the most important role I’ll ever have.

But somewhere amongst raising my family, school runs, packed lunches, washing piles and putting everyone else first… I started building something for me too.

I started late.
I found a passion.
I found ambition I didn’t realise I had.
I found confidence.
And slowly, I started becoming a version of myself I hadn’t met before.

Building a business alongside being a mum isn’t easy. There are days when the mum guilt kicks in, days when I’m exhausted and days when I wonder how I’m going to fit everything in.

But then I remember what my children are seeing.

They’re watching their mum work hard.
They’re watching me learn.
They’re watching me take risks.
They’re watching me build something I genuinely love.

And I hope one day they understand that wanting something for yourself doesn’t make you any less of a mum.

Sometimes motherhood isn’t where you lose yourself.

Sometimes it’s where you finally find her. 🤍

When working with THE GLO CO X LASH GLO UK Solo Lift, I’m not simply setting a timer and walking away. I’m checking the hair throughout processing and looking for that little wave/flexibility in the hair that tells me it’s ready.

Because not every brow processes at the same speed and even different areas of the same brow can be ready at different times.

Knowing what you’re looking for, when to remove and when an area needs a little longer is where the real understanding of One Step comes in.
