💜 Hello my name is Lisa and I am the face behind Relax, Calm & Nurture. Previously known as Relax Kids Birkdale.

I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor, supporting adults, children and young people in a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, valued and accepted.

With over 20 years’ experience working in education and a range of therapeutic settings, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people through life’s challenges, helping them build confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing.

My approach is holistic and person-centred, recognising that every individual is unique. Whether you’re looking for support with anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, loss, emotional regulation, life changes or simply need someone to listen.

During my counselling training, I volunteered at Liverpool Domestic Abuse Service and The SWAN Centre, supporting women and young people both remotely by telephone and through face to face counselling. These experiences strengthened my understanding of trauma, resilience and the importance of providing a safe, non-judgmental and empathetic relationship.

I aim to provide a calm, nurturing and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace with no judgement.

My hope is that you’ll find encouragement, practical tools and reassurance that you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone.
