I thought I should reintroduce myself as it’s been a while! I’m Gemma, a Portsmouth girl through and through, mum of three, dog mum to Winnie and Juno, and owner of Old Flame Tattoo Removal.

Old Flame started from home with one laser and a lot of determination. These days I’m lucky enough to have my own studio in Portsmouth, alongside Dien from Dien | Aesthetics & Skin • Southsea and Bobbie from FRECKLES, MICROBLADING & NANOBLADING | PORTSMOUTH & SOUTHSEA. We all specialise in different treatments, but we’re all working towards the same thing really – helping people feel more comfortable and confident in their own skin.

One of the things I love most about this job is meeting people. Every tattoo has a story behind it, and it’s a privilege to help people move onto their next chapter.

When I’m not in the clinic you’ll usually find me by the sea, out walking with the dogs, or spending time with family and friends.

Lovely L came in today to have her old SPMU removed. She had three layers of heavy ink including microblading and blush brows which had left her with brows that she wasn’t happy with! With just one pass of the laser we’ve managed to remove SO much of the ink that L should be ready for new brows once the skin has settled. These photos were taken immediately before and after removal so she’s a little bit pink! Thanks as always L for coming and seeing me today 😊😊😊 ❤️
