Nearly there!
My lovely customer H came in today for what will probably be her last session on this tattoo.
We’ve had a nice long break since her previous session in March ’26, so we gave it a good blast today. I’ll see her again in January, when we think she’ll be ready for her final session!
H has been amazing to work with. She started with several really saturated tattoos, but she’s followed my advice to the letter, especially when it comes to giving her body plenty of time between sessions, and now she’s reaping the rewards.
Slow and steady really does win the race with tattoo removal. Soon, these tattoos will be gone for good!

Now THAT is a cover up. You’d never know there was another tattoo hiding underneath.
A little laser fading beforehand meant my client had so much more freedom when choosing her new tattoo, including negative space, which simply wouldn’t have been possible with the original tattoo as it was.
We’ve all seen those cover ups that have to be bigger, darker and heavier than the client really wanted, simply because there’s so much old ink to disguise. And as they age, that old tattoo can sometimes start to become visible underneath.
By fading the original tattoo first, we gave the artist a much better canvas to work with, and the result speaks for itself.
Laser removal doesn’t always have to mean complete removal. Sometimes, a little fading is all you need to get the tattoo you actually want.
I know people always want to come back sooner, to get the job done ‘quicker’ but I promise you that more frequent sessions doesn’t mean quicker results. The laser can only make the job (removing the tattoo) possible, it’s up to your body how quickly that happens. That said, a knowledgeable laser tech and a good quality laser will ensure the best possible conditions to enable your body to do the hard work of removal.
