Hello.
I just wanted to let everyone know that Sam & Rhys have left head to open their own shop on Albert Road. Unfortunately, the loss of staff & customers means that I will be closing the shop over the next few weeks.
If you have an appointment with me, don’t worry as I am still cutting hair & able to take care of you & explain what the future holds for us. I am also still taking appointments, so if you need a cut drop me a text or give me a call.
Massive thanks to Doinita for all her hard work over the years making the shop look beautiful.
Also, thanks to my amazing family Sarah, Dylan & Barney for their love & support. I could not have done it without you x
It feels a very sad end to 18 magnificent years & I want to thank each & every one of you that have been through the door. You have all played your part in making head such a wonderful place to be.
This is not the end though & I am currently working on a new exciting project that you will hear more about very soon.

A new booking system is also coming to manage your appointments via an app as we want to make your experience as simple as possible.
We put in the work so you can just soak up the atmosphere, chat to the team and leave your worries behind for a spell while we trim, tidy and style.

Does anybody know anyone that might be able to fix this? It powers up fine, but trips out after a short while, then resets and powers up again! I’d really like to have it back working in the shop so that people can play it like the days before Covid!

Tomorrow will be the 7th anniversary of losing our dear friend & colleague Dan. Those of you that knew him will remember his warmth & kindness & real love of life. As is tradition, we will be remembering him with a Dan Day today at head. The music will be mainly Smiths based & there is a selection of whiskeys (Dan's favourite) so you can raise a glass in his memory.
We send loads of love to all his family at what will always be a difficult time x

I'm gutted to announce that yesterday was Mark's last day at the shop. He's retired to allow him to concentrate on his health. Obviously we'll all miss him massively. It's been an absolute pleasure working with Mark over the last 11 years. He is a true original! I thought you'd like to see some of the magical moments during our time together!
We wish you all the very best Mark & hope that everything works out well for you. Remember, the door is always open, so don't be a stranger x
