To all my regular nail clients…
As you may have seen this week on social media, a certain nail brand are under scrutiny for not being forthcoming coming about a change in ingredients in their products, I can confirm I do sometimes use this brand, it isn’t a secret.

Whilst I don’t normally jump on things like this, this is not the first time they have done something like this!
Over the past few months myself and a few of my clients have noticed some issues with lifting, peeling ect I have been racking my brains trying to figure it out as I haven’t changed anything I do or the way I do it but this explains all.

I can only apologise to my clients on their behalf & can assure you all I will non longer be using this brand in the salon. I refuse to use a brand that has no integrity, let alone the fact they could have endangered peoples lives by not notifying a change in ingredients.
Some people will be thinking well it’s only some nail products, but I have, first hand, over the years seen the real damage & impact these products can do when used incorrectly/ inappropriately, not to mention the fact someone could have had a serious allergic reaction & we would have been none of the wiser, that stuff keeps me up at night 😅.

So with all this in mind I have decided I can no longer trust to use them, please bare with me over the next coming weeks whilst we trial and error a few new brands. The brand I have chosen to invest in, I am confident we will see great results but please rest assured that if you need any repairs ect these will of course be done free of charge.

All I ask is you please, bare with me whilst we figure this out together, feedback is very much appreciated as these things can be detrimental to a small business & I’d rather not lose clients over it
