Another busy week. Thank you all for choosing me as your practitioner. What do you think was my most popular treatment this week? Now enjoying a nice meal with my lovely sister and the children.

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Aesthetics Practitioner, one of the most important parts of my role is education.

For me, educating my clients is just as important, if not more important, than the treatment itself.

Every client deserves to fully understand:
• How does a treatment work
• The expected benefits
• Possible side effects
• Contraindications
• Risks and limitations
• What results can they realistically expect

Informed consent is far more than simply signing a form. It's about ensuring you have all the information you need to make the right decision for yourself and your health.

If I haven't taken the time to explain your treatment thoroughly, answer your questions, and make sure you understand exactly what you're having and why, then I wouldn't feel that I've done my job properly.

As practitioners, we have a responsibility to empower our clients with knowledge, not just perform procedures.

Education is key. A well-informed client is a safer client, a more confident client, and ultimately a happier client.

And here's something I strongly believe: if your practitioner isn't taking the time to educate you about the treatment, the risks, the contraindications, and the aftercare, that should be considered a red flag 🚩.

Never be afraid to ask questions. Your practitioner should welcome them.

Knowledge first. Treatment second. Always.

One of my favourite things is treating a mother and daughter together. These two are such lovely, funny clients and always a pleasure to see. Today, we added a subtle amount of dermal filler to enhance their lips, with beautiful natural results. Such a great day! ✨💋

First Day back and I enjoyed seeing you all. I especially enjoyed treating this lovely new client who was over the moon with her results. Chin and cheek filler.

Lip filler can be natural and supportive. We can enhance the shape and give some protrusion without them looking fake and overfilled, which increases risk migration.

On my way back after spending 3 lovely nights with my sister in Marbella for her 40th. I had a fabulous rest, some nice cocktails and I'm ready to get back to work. I'm looking forward to seeing you all next week.
