Dear valued clients/friends

So Monday we reopen our doors and cannot wait to see you all.
We are all very much looking forward to seeing you back in the salon 🥳😘

Just a few reminders to be aware of;

*The main one is EVEN IF you have been vaccinated this still applies.
If anyone in your household has any symptoms or any kind of cold or illness please let us know in good time to cancel your appointment and stay home.

*Could we ask that everyone continues to wear a mask during your appointment and to sanitise your hands. We will be in full PPE as before, and maintaining the highest level of hygiene possible, to keep everyone safe during your visit to the salon. We will be working on a one client basis, per staff member, to limit numbers in the salon to a minimum.

*Masks are compulsory unless you are wearing an exemption lanyard.

*Please come for your appointment alone. There is no where to wait. This includes bringing children if they cannot be left with us please wait until restrictions are a little more lenient.

*Please be punctual and not too early. As there is nowhere to wait.

*Please wait to be invited into the salon.
There is no waiting area.

*Please if you need to cancel for any reason, give us at least 48 hours where possible.
If not you WILL BE charged a cancellation fee. As I’m sure you can appreciate our appointments are like gold dust.

Lockdown has given us a chance to take some time to update our hairdressing knowledge, with some online training. We can’t wait to use it!

Hi from us all hope you are all well. As we have just found out it looks as though we will be allowed to open on 12th April as I’m sure you are all waiting patiently for this day to come.
We have been receiving a few messages from some of our lovely clients already as I know you will all be desperate to see us again.

But please as you can imagine we will have a very difficult job again sorting all of our appointments and it has to be on a strict order system again like before.
We will do out upmost to get through you all as soon as we physically can as your loyalty is greatly appreciated. It’s not an easy task as you are all individually important to us but this is the 3rd time we have had to go through this and can only do what we can again under the legal guidelines.

We hope you understand and will be in touch with you in due course.

We will be reopening on Wednesday 2nd December following the recent government announcement.

Please please bear with us.
So if you haven’t missed a November appointment or did not have an upcoming December appointment please be aware you may not get one until the new year.

We will be doing our best to accommodate as many clients as we can and Contact you in turn as you are all equally as important to us all.

But please don’t forget we will have to do our best to also stick to government guidelines regarding working conditions.

And as you can imagine returning back to work literally before Christmas when in general it’s busy anyway, and after we have had another month off and cannot accommodate as many clients in a day as before restrictions.
The salon will be far busier than normal as we are all going to be working to fit as many of you in as we can.

So if you have been self isolating due to being vulnerable or have underlying health issues or just generally nervous about being out in public at the moment, then it might be advisable to wait until the Christmas rush is over if you are not desperate.

We will do our best and hope that you will all be supportive and understanding.

So this is going to be our new home for our hairdressing. Today will be busy putting the final finishing touches to the inside ready for our grand opening tomorrow. There is of course apprehension as we have been off for so long. But equally excitement too as we are starting a fresh in our new premises. A big huge huggable thank you to you James for all you have done for us to make this happen. We were at the Beginning of lockdown damsels in distress. And you came to our rescue and we cannot thank you enough. Are you sure you can handle us 5 nutters 🤣 We will do our best to make you a proud Salon Owner. # # #🥳🍾🥂❤️

Our new salon is being transformed as we speak and we are looking forward to welcoming you all. Don’t forget it’s No 3 Victoria Street opposite Spalding Library.

Please please we cannot stress enough that if you cannot make your appointment please give us as much notice as possible. As we have so many clients to fit in and these appointments are like gold dust. We will have to charge for any missed appointments.
As well as that please be on time as we cannot promise that we will still be able to do your hair as we will literally have one in one out and it is not fair to the next client as they cannot wait in the salon they have to wait outside.

Please also if you are requiring a consultation for a restyle in anyway be it colour or cut then please make us aware before you come as your appointment time will be based on what we have done in the past.

Important post please read :

To all of our valued Clients/Friends. Please read for important information.

We hope you and your families are ok and staying safe and well through this tricky time. We all miss you all, and are very much looking forward to being reunited with our scissors and all of you very soon.
So it’s looking like July 6th at the earliest that we can return. We will be booking people in as fairly as possible, so will be allowing clients that were due to have their hair done at the beginning of lockdown, to book in first.
We hope that we can open on the 6th July but will keep you informed for an exact date.

Sadly due to circumstances beyond our control, the girls and I will be moving premises, from No.8 The Crescent to No.3 The Salon @ Victoria Street, Spalding ( 3rd building down Victoria street opposite side to the library ) It is very close to Victoria Street car park also. So when you come for your next appointment, we will be at the new salon. We are very excited to welcome you safely into the new salon.

We have been working very hard to make sure we are readily prepared for the new safety rules to be used within the salon. We have all completed the ‘Barbicide’ safety course to make sure we make the environment as safe as possible for you.

We will be asking each client to wear a mask whilst in the salon, that you will need to bring with you please. We will have some spare available but they will be charged at £1 per mask.

We will only be able to have 1 client per stylist, to abide by the 2 metre distance rule. We will therefore ask you to wait to be asked into the salon for your appointment.

Hand Sanitiser will be used on arrival.

Disposable gowns will be used and all equipment and surfaces sanitised between each client. No dry cuts allowed for time being.

Unfortunately for now we will not be able to supply magazines or refreshments, however, feel free to bring your own.

For now we ask that until things settle down, we won’t be able to do any children’s hair under 11 years. Please come alone for your appointment at your stated time.

Any missed appointments, or last minute cancellations of less than 24 hours, will incur a cancellation charge. Our appointments are going to be very limited due to the new restrictions, so please do not book unless you are sure you are well enough to make it. Any symptoms of any kind, either to yourself or any of your family members, then please stay away and let us know. We will do our very best to cater to everyone’s needs, and get your appointment booked ASAP, but as you can imagine, we will be extremely busy. Everyone will need a longer appointment, and we can only have one client per stylist in at a time.

The previous salon number will no longer be in use so please either message your stylist privately.

Just checking in with all our lovely friends of No8. Hope you are all well and keeping safe?
So that’s 6 weeks done and I’m sure lots of you are missing us just as we are you too.
There is not much news at the moment of when we will be able to be reunited with our scissors but we just want you to rest assured that in the meantime we are preparing for a much more sanitized work place. We are all currently taking online courses and being certified with Barbicide a leading sanitizing product and system.
We think that there will be lots more stringent rules and regulations put in place regarding hairdressing salons, limiting us to the amount of clients in a salon at one time. So please bare with us when the time comes to booking appointments and opening the doors again. We feel we will be very busy and you will all want to be our first clients 😂.
So this brings me to say keep doing what we should be doing and stay safe and hope to welcome you all back real soon # # #

Just thought I’d share my daughter’s beautiful curled hair. A week and a half into this lockdown and I needed to get creative again. Such beautiful hair to play with and she loves being pampered 😍💗
