Well folks, that’s a wrap! The end of an era……It’s been an emotional few weeks saying goodbye to you all 🥲 It’s been a blast, I’ve made so many great friends over the years. We’ve been through so much together, births deaths, marriages, you name it!! We’ve laughed, cried and put the world to rights…………you’ve even had a few tellings off!!!!!! It’s been an honour to be a part of so many of your special life moments, thank you all so much.

I’d also like to say a huge thank you to all the lovely nail techs and beauty therapists who have taken my clients under their wing (tag your new techs ladies!!) it gives me great comfort to know they’re being looked after 🥰
Yet again you’ve all been so generous and so kind to me with your cards, gifts and messages of support, I truly have been spoilt. I’ve said it a million times but I can’t thank you all enough for your love, support, custom and friendship…….there would have been no Manniicured Nails and Beauty without you ❤️❤️❤️

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I post this today, but after 25 years in the industry and 10 years of running my own business I have decided to close down and end my career in Nails and Beauty. My last working day will be Friday 1st October 2021, please accept my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
It’s been a long and difficult decision, and one that has not been taken lightly. The industry has changed so much over the years and the demand and competition has grown rapidly. While healthy competition is good for business, I feel now is the right time for me to take a step back and make way for the next generation of Beauty Therapists and Nail/Lash Technicians.
I will never forget the loyalty shown to me over the years and I will always be grateful to all of my clients for helping my business grow and go from strength to strength. Clients who have, over time, become great friends and I pray that these friendships will still remain. I apologise if I have offended anyone over the years, please know that this would never have been my intention.
I will speak to you all individually over the coming weeks, but for now, please accept my notice of resignation.
I thank you for your loyalty and generosity during our time together and I appreciate you all from the bottom of my heart. Big love to you all and God bless 🙏🏽❤️😢

With “Freedom Day” approaching I would like to remind all of my lovely clients that nothing will change at Manniicured Nails & Beauty with regards to face coverings and social distancing from Monday 19th July.
Due to the very close contact nature of the treatments, clients are required to wear a face covering for the duration of their appointment. I will continue to wear full PPE and maintain the regular cleaning schedule, and clients will still be required to wash and sanitise their hands before their treatment. This is to ensure the safety of everyone at Manniicured and The Birches.

Finally got these signed off and now I’ll be offering Lash Perfect, hand fanned, Russian Volume lashes!!! This multi lash technique creates a high volume look with the same lightweight feel of Classic Individual lashes. These are priced at £70.00 for a full set and £30.00 for infills.

So we’ve been given the green light for Monday 12th!!!!! Please message me for an appointment but just bear with me if I don’t respond immediately, I will get back to you.
Just to make you aware that industry insurance companies are making some changes. Allergic reactions are on the rise after people have contracted Covid-19 and also since receiving the vaccination, so new patch testing will be required at least 24hrs before any tinting or eyelash extension appointment. New medical information consultation forms will also be required for every client.
All sanitising and social distancing measures will still be in place as before, we all still have to do it bit to avoid spreading this disease 🦠

Hello lovely people, just to let you know I haven’t forgotten about you all!! Although the news states that everything’s looking good for the roadmap to go ahead as planned, I’m still going to wait until Boris makes his announcement early next week before taking any bookings. Do not worry, I will get you all in 🥰 In the meantime, I wish you all a happy and peaceful Easter 🙏🏽 xx

Keep calm ladies but I should be back in action from the 12th April!!!!! Providing stage 1 goes well that is. Each stage is being reviewed and confirmed 7 days before the date so I won’t be taking any bookings until the Prime Minister has spoken again on Monday 5th April. Once he confirms the date again it’ll be all systems go!!!
It’s only another 7 weeks guys, we can do this 💪🏽 looking forward to seeing you all again 🙏🏽🥰 xx

Fingers crossed for some good news from Boris tomorrow 🤞🏽🤞🏽 I personally think it’ll be a phased return to normality (whatever that is!!!) but hopefully he’ll give us some indication of when personal care and close contact services can resume.

Hey there lovely people!!! Just checking in on you all. How’s everyone holding up?
Still no news on when restrictions will be lifted but I’m sure we’ll all be glued to the news at the next announcement!!
So just to say that I’m thinking of you all and miss you very much (even those of you who drive me crazy!!!! 🤣) and can’t wait to get back to work, I wasn’t designed to be a housewife 🤣🤣
Feel free to share your “growth” with everyone if you’re feeling brave....... who still has their Christmas nails on???

So just as we feared, we go into tier 4 from midnight tonight meaning I will be closed until further notice 😢 So all appointments booked in the coming weeks are cancelled, sorry. This is all madness but we do have to do what is best for public health.
Hang in there ladies, we’ve done this before we can do it again. As long as we all do what is required of us we can get through this.

So that’s me finished for 2020, not that I worked much of it!!! 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣 I’ve been truly spoilt yet again this year 🥰 thank you all so much for the lovely gifts, cards and good wishes....... but most of all I want to thank you for your continuing support, especially through this awful year. 2020’s been a very difficult year for all of us, whether it be financially or mentally. But each time I’ve come back after a shut down you’ve all been there waiting for me, supporting my small business.....and I can’t thank you enough for that, I really am truly grateful 🙏🏽❤️
