Proper aftercare, maintaining good hygiene, avoiding makeup on the treated area, protecting the skin from UV exposure, and avoiding irritants all support the healing process and help minimize the risk of complications. 🤍

Po zabiegu skóra rozpoczyna proces regeneracji. Około 3.–5. dnia pojawia się delikatne złuszczanie, a czasami również niewielkie strupki. To naturalny etap gojenia, dlatego bardzo ważne jest, aby ich nie zdrapywać i pozwolić skórze regenerować się we własnym tempie.

Po około tygodniu proces złuszczania jest zazwyczaj zakończony. Brwi często wydają się znacznie jaśniejsze niż bezpośrednio po zabiegu, dlatego wiele klientek ma wrażenie, że pigment zniknął.

W rzeczywistości pigment znajduje się pod nową warstwą wygojonej skóry i nadal się stabilizuje. To całkowicie naturalny etap procesu gojenia.

✨ Pełna regeneracja skóry oraz stabilizacja koloru trwa około 4–6 tygodni. Dopiero wtedy możemy właściwie ocenić ostateczny efekt makijażu permanentnego.

🔷 Permanent eyebrow makeup is a process that requires time and patience.

Immediately after the treatment, your eyebrows will usually appear darker, more defined and slightly fuller than the final healed result. This is a completely natural reaction of the skin to the implanted pigment.

Over the following days, your skin begins to heal. Around days 3–5, light flaking and sometimes small scabs may appear. This is a normal part of the healing process, so it is important not to pick or remove them.

After about a week, the flaking is usually complete and the eyebrows often appear much lighter than they did immediately after the treatment. Many clients feel as though the pigment has disappeared.

In reality, the pigment is hidden beneath a fresh layer of healed skin and is still stabilising. This is a completely normal stage of the healing process.

✨ Full skin regeneration and colour stabilisation take approximately 4–6 weeks. Only then can we properly assess the final result.

📆 At this stage, your perfecting touch-up appointment is carried out to refine the shape and pigment, creating a beautifully balanced result that can last 2-3 years.

I’m here today with a very important reminder about aftercare for permanent eyebrow makeup, as well as general eyebrow maintenance-even if the procedure was done some time ago.

It’s summer and vacation season has begun; we’re spending more time in the sun, and we’re enjoying beautiful, sunny weather here in the UK, too. Right now, it’s crucial to remember one very important thing: protecting our eyebrows from UV radiation.

Just as we protect the skin on our faces from the sun, we need to remember to protect our eyebrows as well. Freshly applied permanent makeup requires special care, as the skin is still healing and the pigment needs time to settle properly.

After the procedure, the skin has sustained micro -injuries and is more sensitive, making it far more vulnerable to the effects of sunlight. Excessive sun exposure can cause irritation and aggravate inflammation.

Also, remember that the pigments used in permanent makeup are highly sensitive to UV radiation. The sun can affect the pigment's longevity and appearance - causing it to fade faster, leading to uneven discoloration, and eventually even altering the shade (for example, shifting to unwanted gray or red tones).

That is why it is so important not to overlook post-procedure instructions.

After getting permanent makeup, you must strictly avoid direct sun exposure to your eyebrows during the healing process. This means avoiding tanning- whether outdoors or in a sunbed - during this time. It is worth protecting your eyebrows by wearing sunglasses and a hat or cap, and by limiting direct sun exposure.

Also, remember that even after your eyebrows have fully healed, it is still important to use sun protection—such as a high-SPF 50 sunscreen. This helps maintain the beautiful, fresh look of your permanent makeup for longer.

Beautiful eyebrows are the result of both a professional procedure and proper aftercare.

So, take good care of your brows, and they will reward you with a beautiful, long-lasting result.
