I’ve had a wonderful two weeks off, I’m incredibly grateful to my clients for this time. Thanks to your patience I’ve been able to really switch off, something Im known to struggle with.

My next planned time away from the business will be 1st August for 1 week. After 5 years with very little time off either building the company or studying, I feel it’s important to my health, my work, my home and my son, to make a conscious effort, by taking breaks more frequently. We all know the beauty industry doesn’t sleep - and neither does Becky 🫣🤣. I know I’ve been unwell but I’ve slept so much over the past few days. Maybe the illness forced me to. But despite that, I know this is the first day in a long time I’ve felt rejuvenated. So it was necessary.

Home from our travels and had an amazing time with our friends.. It was a new part of Spain explored and my goodness it was beautiful. It’s still maintained a lot of its traditional charm and lifestyle.

Sadly I’m now battling a sinus infection it seems 😑.
It’s been lovely to get away, just a real shame a simple cold I had prior evolved into this. It’s not pleasant 😭.
I’m still back on Monday as planned.
I guess the lesson in this is REST just as hard as you work, or your time off will be spent recovering.

You’ll probably notice me being much quieter on the work socials. I really feel a more organic approach is better. Yes it’s old fashioned and I may not get the most followings, but I want to keep in touch with my beautiful clients via messages and calls. Take me back to the 90s.

This holiday whilst quite remote, has given me the chance to detox digitally and despite being unwell, I can’t deny I feel mentally better for it.
