Stay Fabulous with massage St Neots

Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a gentle, rhythmic massage technique used to stimulate lymph flow, reduce swelling (lymphoedema), and clear waste products from tissues.

It redirects excess fluid away from congested or swollen areas into healthy regions where the lymphatic system functions normally.

MLD differs from deep tissue massage as it requires very light, precise skin stretching rather than firm pressure or friction.

Key Benefits

* Lymphoedema Management: Commonly used to treat chronic fluid buildup caused by surgery, cancer treatments, or trauma.

* Post-Surgery Recovery: Frequently utilized to reduce bruising, swelling, and scar tissue formation after cosmetic or orthopedic procedures.

* Detoxification & Wellness: May help reduce fluid retention, improve circulation, and alleviate symptoms of conditions like fibromyalgia or chronic bloating.
