I love to see the light dance around the room on a sunny day, and what better way to enjoy it than with the colours and textures of stained glass. After attending a few workshops and one to one sessions I got hooked on glass creations and bought all the equipment I needed. I have since enjoyed producing pieces for friends and family members and now attend various craft fayres and art events to sell my glass creations. I have no formal training but have developed my skills through trial and error and i am now in the position to share my skills with others through workshops. I work mainly with the traditional tiffany method, but have recently experimented more with fusing and slumping glass, various success and minor failures. :-)
But that is the beauty of this art.....who knows what surprises await when you open the kiln.........

So excited to have some of my work in the next exhibition at Heart of The Tribe in Glastonbury
I've been working on some new mixed media pieces using discarded picture frame glass, dried flowers and found treasures.
Beneath the veil exhibition runs 11th September - 9th November.

A little repair for a cockerel lamp
Someone asked if I could make a new piece for the comb on this cockerels head as it had been damaged.
I adore being able to mend stained glass and ensuring items are enjoyed for many more years to come.
Rather pleased with the outcome.

It's been a hot sticky sorting day in the studio today.
Much more organised
