Mova Training Academy

We are proud to have our very own dedicated in-house academy at Mova Staines-upon-Thames, offering staff the highest levels of training in classic cutting, styling and colouring techniques. Giuseppe Vaccaro and Lorenzo Mortellaro, directors of Mova, ensure all staff are continuously educated on a weekly basis to guarantee quality and consistency in their work. Mova’s Diploma Course is a step-by-step progression through the NVQ curriculum, with classes every Monday in our in-house school. This intensive course includes theory, salon demonstrations and practical, hands-on experience in the salon using live models. Students are taken through each individual module meticulously, developing the precise skills required to become a qualified hairdresser with an NVQ qualification at the end of the course. These are an essential part of the syllabus and cover topics such as Client Care, Consultations, Product Care and Advice, giving the students an insight into their future contribution to the effective running of the salon and essential customer care and service.
