Located in the heart of Stamford, Lincolnshire, I am a self employed hair stylist working at Garie Nigel Hairwork. Established in 1986, Garie Nigel Hairwork is my Father's salon, which one day I wish to take over. I qualified as a hairstylist in 2011 after completing a 2 year apprenticeship with Stamford College. I took the step to go self employed within the salon in September 2012, and have since photographed most of my work to keep existing and new customers interested in what I do. This included photo shoots, model castings and a 5 day boot camp down in London, finished with a show at the EXCEL in October. I'm passionate about all aspects of hair and fashion and thrive on making people look and feel good! Freehand balayage, it’s been a while!
Megan was last in the chair 2 years ago after having a similar service.
We found the grow out to be super natural and the soft freehand blend worked well for the length of time left between appointments.
We may not advise leaving appointments so few and far between, but we will always work with you and your hair to create something that suits your lifestyle!

It’s been a minute!
Life has been pretty crazy recently but I’m bringing back the posts (or at least going to try!)
I had so much fun transforming Emily’s hair last week.
We wanted to create a brighter, creamier blonde, but it was important to keep the colour low maintenance - allowing for a subtle grow out.
We then applied 75 nano rings, adding length, thickness and colour.

Just a little revamp for Emily 🤫
After having her first baby only 3 months ago Emily felt her hair was in need for a transformation.
Taking her back to her natural colour and adding in a subtle face frame, this was a full colour service with nano ring hair extensions.
These photos show beautifully how the colour subtly changes in slightly different lighting.
Low maintenance, baby friendly and still giving those hot mama vibes 👑

Lived in blonde 🥥
A mixture of baby lights and teased lowlights created a beautiful low maintenance blonde.
Finished up with some discreet nano rings to fill the sides, we have a stunning spring time textured bob, ready to see some sun! (Please?!) ☀️
