When you’re on holiday and “the new girl” is smashing this out the park 💁🏼♀️
One of my gorgeous long-standing clients wanted to tone down the blonde and try out a more sophisticated bronde look, so I left her in Emily’s capable hands.

I've been a hairstylist since 2014, and I specialise in creating beautiful blondes, seamless balayages and rich, glossy brunettes.
As a salon, we proudly use Wella Professional colour, a brand I love for its incredible results and commitment to education. ✨ Soft, seamless balayage refresh ✨
We brightened her blonde with a beautifully blended balayage, toned everything with a cool ash finish to keep unwanted warmth away, then finished with a fresh cut and silky smooth blow-dry. 🤍
The result? A low-maintenance, lived-in blonde with plenty of dimension and shine. ✨

The brief;
Dimension
Brighter but more blended
Blonder but low maintenance on regrowth
Doable? Absolutely!
We softened out that existing regrowth with a full head of teasylights, mixing up weaves & slices. We focused on creating lots of brightness around the face but ensured the rest was still beautifully blonde, all in a way that will grow out perfectly 🙌🏼

Always lovely when an old client walks back through the door 🩷
Please know, whatever your reason (we won’t ask) we will welcome you back with open arms.
The tone just needed a little tweak, so we could enhance this lovely ladies natural features. We softened the whole look with some lowlights.. being mindful of hair integrity we did very minimal with the blonde. 6-8 foils in the front to add some face framing. A root shadow & a creamy mushroom toner to soften the whole look.
Followed by a trim & some curls. She left feeling like a new woman 😍

If you’ve only lived with a full head of normal to thick hair then the likeliness is you won’t fully understand the emotion behind this new hair do..
Every 6 weeks we have the “what can you do with it?” conversation during the consultation & our choices are limited.
She looks after her hair, has regular appointments, uses premium products and doesn’t overdo the heat YET those sides are not destined to be long……. UNTIL NOW!
With only 1 row of weft & some nano’s in the sides we’ve not only produced a new hair style..
she left with her smile a little wider & an extra boost of confidence within. It’s about so much more than hair.
That ladies & gentleman is why, 24 years later, I still love what I do 🥰
*disclaimer* the colour match was spot on but I need a lesson in videography & photography. In an old building with low ceilings, the photo’s are sometimes a project on their own 😂😂🫣
