before an appointment, i spend time planning the details.

my client sent some inspo pics via DM and we shared a few shade ideas. then, during her manicure, we looked at each in different lights to find the one that suited her skin tone and personal style while making sure it’s effortless for her to live with for the next few weeks (because it’s never just pink).

this shade is Natural Pink and at the end she said it was the best pink we’ve done. it’s reactions like this that make me think spending a little extra time during the treatment is so worth it to get the right result.

A year of quitting my corporate job, stepping fully into nails, assisting two London Fashion Week shows, building my private studio, learning from industry greats and spending countless hours with clients whose conversations and energy help made 2025 a really good one.

Back from a few days in Krakow 🎄✨
Lots of walks, pretty festive doorways and horse-drawn carriages in the square. Taking a quick trip before a busy few weeks leading up to Christmas was definitely a good idea. Now it’s back to reality, and I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s my first Christmas as a full-time manicurist, no 9-5 corporate job and I get to spend this evening getting the studio set for clients this week and my kit ready for some things I had on my vision board this year 😌💫

Consider this my early surrender to Christmas 🎄

I never decorate before December, but I just couldn’t wait to get the tree up in the studio…and honestly, I’m obsessed with her 🥰

When I was setting up my studio for a client the other day, I took these few shots thinking it might be useful to show what happens between appointments, especially if you’re someone who appreciates a space that’s clean, tidy and safe when it comes to your beauty services.

Every tool is sanitised, single-use items like buffers and orange wood sticks are replaced and I dismantle my gel lamps to clean inside - so you don’t have to worry about any leftover cured gel when you place your hand in.

It’s something I really value myself and one of the main things I think about when choosing my own beauty treatments which is why it’s not something I ever compromise on 🧼🫧
