Children’s nails and skin are still developing, thin and very absorbent. Strong chemicals carry a high risk of permanent allergies, UV lamps can harm delicate new tissue, and heavy products cause long‑term nail weakness. Most professional insurance also does not cover these treatments for minors.
❌ Gels & Acrylics are NOT suitable for anyone under 16
Children’s nails are still developing, thin and very porous. Strong chemicals, UV exposure and the weight of enhancements can cause lasting damage, plus there is a much higher risk of developing permanent allergies.
Most professional insurance also does NOT cover these treatments for under‑16s.
