One of the most commonly used terms in the hair industry is balayage, but did you know balayage isn’t actually a colour service?

Balayage is a French word meaning “to sweep” or “to paint”. Traditionally, it’s a hand-painted technique designed to create a soft, natural, sun-kissed effect with seamless blends and gentle ribbons of lightness throughout the hair.

These days, the word balayage gets used to describe almost any lived-in blonde look, but often the technique being used is something completely different.

My preferred method for creating those beautiful blended blondes is Teasy Lights.

Why?

✨ Creates a softer root area with a beautifully blended grow-out.
✨ Gives more brightness and impact whilst still maintaining that lived-in look.

So whilst the finished result may look like a balayage, the technique behind it is often Teasy Lights, helping me create brighter, cleaner blondes with a seamless finish.
