IMPORTANT!!
I have some brilliant news. Nationserv directors Darren Notschild and Rhys Morosco, with Laura Glazebrook and myself, are officially starting a new charity very soon. It will run alongside PFP.. directly helping those that contact me through our page and through the CBH page too.
For PFP, it means I have a little office you can come and talk to me, storage for goods, ovens and fridges, carpets, floor tiles, kitchen units and building materials for your home or school projects .. all kinds of things.
Darren and Rhys have already begun sourcing things that would otherwise go to waste, Laura and I will be able to reach those that need it. PFP has an army of support workers, care workers, teachers, nurses that we can contact to get these items to the people that it could be a lifeline for. Weβve been plotting this for a while and in the coming weeks will be ready to become fully operational.
For me It is a brilliant extension to PFP and follows my lifelong belief that we as a community have so much that we can directly help ourselves.. and stop looking toward people that do not see the urgency and the need of people in our town.
If this is going to work ..and on the eve of the 10th birthday of PFP I should know.. we need numbers to follow this page. We have 15,000 on this page, and thatβs what makes it so attractive to business to get involved. We need people to know there is help, know that they are not left behind, to know that this community has got them, and we care.
SO. Please find this page today on FB, give it a like and you will see the incredible changes to peopleβs lives that we can make.
PFP will always be here for you, it just got bigger and better and broader in our help. Support the new project please.. because again it shows that this much maligned little town of ours is way ahead of anywhere when it comes to being a community. ππ»πβ€οΈ

Well done old town boys Mick and Mark πβ€οΈππ»
One of our PFP defibrillators has been used over 20 times. One of nine around town that patrons and good people have bought for us. This one is outside Letchmore Road school, but because we learn as we go.. after a lot of usage the pads need replacing on the machine which can be a costly upkeep! Β£330 pounds was needed, and originally the patrons paid for it so we could keep this vital bit of kit going.
It was money that we could have used, the need for food vouchers this last 3 weeks has been huge.. so I had a lovely surprise when mentioning this over a cuppa with all round good guys and Stevenage businessmen Mark Feely ( David Barney Solictors) and Michael Notschild ( Own Homes estate agents).
Two hours after tea, I get a call and these two local heroes have stepped in and covered all the costs. Incredible.
Iβm waiting for that moment when local business realises how wonderful community help is, how good it is for not only business.. but their teams and indeed their own hearts. Hereβs Mark and Micky with co head teacher Eleanor Williams. Our machine is good to go again, and our community values are enhanced and restored. Well done you two. Proud to call you friends! ππ»β€οΈπ
