The difference just one peel can make! 😮

My client came to me with painful and inflamed postpartum acne a month ago. A series of Chemical Peels were recommended to help slough away dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. These keratinised skin cells can contribute to the development of acne causing bacteria. The peels are also buffered by botanics to soothe and heal painful acne and can help to fade leftover scarring. 🌱❤️

Following every peel by spending some time under the healing red LED light and the bacteria reducing blue light we’ve significantly reduced inflammation and pore size in just one peel 🤩

Quite understandably, when it comes to Chemical Peels I get a lot of questions. Usually most people are worried about downtime, redness and skin shedding. These are very important questions so I have decided to do a post to answer the most popular questions and put your mind at ease 🧘🏻‍♀️

1) Is there any downtime?
No, there is no downtime with the solutions I use. I use Chemical Peel solution which is a 40% Glycolic Acid buffered with botanics to soothe and gently reduces pigmentation and exfoliate harmful, acne causing cells on the surface of the skin 🌱

2) Will my face go really red afterwards?
If you are particularly sensitive it’s normal to be a tiny bit red after a Chemical Peel. You will feel a slight tingly sensation while the peel is on however most people actually fall asleep! 😴

3) Will my skin completely peel off?
This is my most commonly asked question 😬
Absolutely not! Epaderma 5 40% Glycolic Acid peel is safe for all skin types and is very gentle with immediately radiant results ⭐️ It is designed to be a “lunchtime appointment” that causes no visible peeling/ dryness.

All facials include some time under the red GenoLED lamp which helps reduce sensitivity/ heat and any redness from the skin. This, paired with a collagen sheet mask helps to soothe and hydrate your skin after a Chemical Peel 💧(also includes scalp massage or hand and arm massage for ultimate relaxation) 💆🏻‍♀️
