Today gets a bit of a bad rap as ‘the most depressing day of the year’, so we’re putting our own spin on Blue Monday with these beautiful blues 💙

Not the sort of nail art I’m normally known for, but sometimes Hen Do nails just call for a cheeky w***y or two! 🍆 👀 🐓

We had A LOT of fun with this set, juxtaposing the sophisticated natural base colour with brightly coloured themed nail art featuring hens, rings & prosecco, as well as the pièce de résistance on those little fingers.

In early December, one of my lovely clients messaged me to say her daughter’s boyfriend was going to propose on Christmas Eve, & could I fit her daughter in beforehand so that her nails would be on point for such a momentous occasion. Of course I couldn’t say no to a request like that, so I squeezed Kate into an early morning slot & tried my best not to give the game away whilst we discussed which nail art option would be best for her ‘Christmas treat’!

After a full consultation, file and thorough cuticle prep, I started with IBX to strengthen and repair her natural nails, which had been weakened after the use of other nail products elsewhere. She opted for the soft pink gel polish of CND Shellac in ‘Aurora’, before adding a subtle iridescent chrome that catches the light almost as beautifully as her stunning ring.
