Just a wee reassuring message to our customers: very pleased to post the council health officer's confirmation in two visits that we maintain hygiene for infection prevention and control as always in accordance with the council's guidelines. In short, we use the required disinfecting materials, e.g., fingicidal one that kills ringworm, for example🥰.

Dear customers,
🙏please share the following message as many families' livings depend on this business.
This post is to address a recent unfair biased allegation raised by a parent whose son unfortunately have got ringworm. I really sympathize and feel sorry for the wee boy for the pain he has but this does not give the right to anyone to make an unfair allegation and attach it to our businesses without evidence. Neither I nor they can say for sure what the cause of the poor boy’s illness. NHS website reads that “Ringworm is a fungal infection. It's not caused by a worm. It can be passed on by close contact with an infected person or animal”. This means the child can be in contact with an infected person in school, indoor or out door area. It is not fair to limit the cause to my shop. The child has not only been exposed to us and accordingly many factors has contributed to his condition including potential parental negligence as the case took place in June and could have been treated within a month if addressed with care. The parents have no right to post sever picture of an accident and claim that we are the cause after months to gain people’s sympathy and cause harm our business. We worked so hard during years to provide the best services to stirling community and many fair people can attest for that. I feel shocked that I have been aggressively targeted by this parent. I am sorry for the kid for both the illness as well as his parent’s usage of his illness to gain sympathy from people and cause harm to our reputation. We follow the hygiene guidelines on a daily basis and we renew our equipments in the right time and this cannot be questionable. Finally, this ringworm has been in stirling for months now and people know the shop that caused that and it doesn’t make sense to blame our shop after 4 months.
Sorry for the long post and I hope a fast recovery to the wee boy.
