Hey, I’m Lauren — the face behind Studio Twenty Two 🤍

I’m a permanent makeup artist, fine line tattoo artist, nail technician, salon owner… and also a mum to my 17-month-old wee girl, Mila — who definitely keeps me just as busy outside of work as inside it.

Watching Studio Twenty Two grow into what it is today has honestly been amazing. What began with just me and my OG girl Megan, has now grown into a team of 13 amazing girls, all bringing their own skills, creativity and energy into the space every single day.

Creating Studio Twenty Two was never just about beauty treatments — it was about building a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable and confident, and where our team feels inspired to grow.

Over the past year, I’ve really found my passion in permanent makeup and fine line tattoos.

I do still do nails too — but now I mainly work with my regular clients, many of them have been with me from the beginning and have genuinely turned into friends along the way, which makes my job even more special.

Balancing business ownership and motherhood isn’t always easy, but both are things I’m incredibly proud of. Every step of this journey has been about learning, growing, and constantly striving to be better — for my clients, my team, and my little girl watching it all happen.

THE MUSE OMBRÉ MASTERCLASS 🤍

This was my model from the Ombré Masterclass - I honestly had the best day ✨

Training is something that’s really important to me. There’s always new techniques to learn and ways to improve, and continuing education is what helps me give my clients the best results possible. I’ll always keep investing in training and pushing myself to grow and get better.

Morgan was amazing from start to finish. so knowledgeable & so welcoming. I learned so much and can’t wait to keep perfecting this technique for my clients 🩷

Ombré Brows – After Top Up 🤎

These photos were taken straight after my client’s top up appointment ✨

The 3rd picture shows her brows fully healed after her first session, just before we started her second. You can see a few areas where the pigment hadn’t held as strongly – and this is exactly why a touch up is so important.

Skin heals differently in certain areas and where there may be previous brow trauma or oilier patches.

For her second session we:
✔️ Kept the same colour
✔️ Focused on saturation
✔️ Built up density in the lighter areas

Pigment used: .uk – Dark Brown 🤎

We were both SO happy with how these turned out – soft, defined and perfectly balanced.

Top ups aren’t optional… they’re part of the process 🤍
