3 years of Simpson and Co ✨

Honestly, it feels like yesterday I was opening the salon doors for the first time feeling absolutely terrified and wondering if anyone would actually come in 😅

3 years later and I’m so proud of how far we’ve come. This year especially has been one of the toughest yet. Running a small business is getting harder all the time with rising costs everywhere you look. VAT, corporation tax, NI increases, wages, stock, electricity… it all adds up.

What I’m most proud of though is the team we’ve built. While so many salons are moving towards chair rental and self-employed models, we’ve continued as an employed salon, investing in training, support and apprenticeships for young people coming into the industry. There really aren’t many salons left able to do that now.

To my amazing team and every single client who supports us thank you. Every appointment genuinely means the world and keeps small businesses like ours going 🤍
