I absolutely ADORE a fresh fill. 👄✨

That completely untouched lip, ready for me to work with what’s naturally there, add a little enhancement and bring out even more of my client’s natural beauty.

For me, THAT is the best bit. 🩷

Now, sorry if this next bit offends anyone… but you know I’m always honest. 😂👇🏼

I’m not really about the full-face filler packages.
Yes, I offer them at a push, when they’re actually appropriate, but I don’t believe every area of somebody’s face needs filling just because we can.

I’m definitely not about the overfilled lip. ❌👄
If I believe adding more product would be inappropriate or create an overfilled result, I’ll refuse to do it.

And I’m absolutely not about the “can we all have the same face?” trend.

Because WHY?! 😭😂

We should be maintaining our own identity. Bigging up our individuality. Enhancing the features that make us us.

Embrace it. Be known. Stand out. Don’t blend in. 🩷✨

One of my clients actually said something to me last week that really stuck with me.

She basically said:

“I knew you were the one for me and I knew I’d keep coming back to you because your face isn’t full of filler… well, I don’t think it is because I can’t tell! 😂 You can spell properly in your messages and you don’t seem like an airhead.”

😂😂😂😂

We HOWLED.

(And FYI, my face genuinely isn’t full of filler. 😂)

But underneath the joke, she actually made such an important point.

You are trusting somebody near your FACE with sharp objects, administering products into your body.

That’s a BIG deal.
A very big deal.

And you should feel comfortable with the person treating you, trust their judgement and know that they’re willing to say NO when something isn’t right for you.

And that brings me beautifully onto this gorgeous first-time fill… 👄🩷

The Post🎞️👄
My client naturally had very little visible upper-lip volume and had been considering filler for quite a while, but she was understandably nervous about taking the plunge.

Her biggest worry?

“I don’t want them too big.”
“I don’t want to look overdone.”

So we talked. 🩷

We discussed what she wanted, what she didn’t want and what would work with her own natural proportions.

The goal wasn’t to give her a completely different pair of lips.

It was to give HER lips a little something extra.

And LOOK. 👄✨

Beautifully proportioned.
Beautifully enhanced.
Still completely HER.

She was absolutely over the moon with her result, and I’m SO pleased with how beautifully they turned out. 🥹🩷

There is a little swelling through the upper lip in the immediate post-treatment photo, which is expected following lip filler and will settle as the lips heal.

Lip enhancement can be such an effective treatment when it’s approached carefully, using appropriate techniques, products and clinical judgement.

Because filler shouldn’t walk into the room before you do.

You should still look like YOU. Just with a little extra JUICE. 👄💦🩷

But seriously, this industry has thickened my skin like you wouldn’t believe. It’s also taught me the true art of ignoring the noise and refusing to let other people’s opinions rent space in my head 🙋🏼‍♀️✋🏼✨ and that is pure 🪄 MAGIC!

What I’ve never quite understand is why the time and effort others spend on hate, gossip and bitterness can’t redirect into building their business, supporting others or creating something positive…. Honestly it works wonders (that’s a free tip btw)
