A little staff training day to share knowledge and have some fun with it.

I am also offering 1-1 shadow days in the salon for blow drying and my signature balayage technique that I have literally spent years perfecting ❤️

You know it’s taking 37 hours to do your sisters hair because you are doing everything but the hair… laughing, talking, fighting, eating you name it it gets done in a family appointment 🤣

Honestly I really feel like my passion is teaching and I want to lean into it so much.
I absolutely love sharing my passion and knowledge with people and seeing amazing results. Seeing someone else be proud of their own achievements makes me feel a sense of achievement my self.
And wow what a hairdresser is. PART 2 Coming soon so you can all see the finished product!
But honestly sometimes it’s not even about technical skill it’s about confidence and I’m so proud of Heather putting the work in these last few weeks to build on both. They come hand in hand ❤️

Hairdressers? What even is a balayage these days????

Jokes aside, it’s important to know if your hair classes as a balayage or more when booking. So hopefully this will be able to help any confusion ❤️

It’s a long one! So buckle in! Don’t know if anyone else agrees but I actually really enjoy doing a consultation (probs cos I love yapping) but I think it’s a really good opportunity to get across your knowledge and make someone feel comfortable in your chair.
I like to ask about the history of the hair, and explain what things mean in “non hairdresser” way.
I can imagine it being quite over whelming having loads of hair dresser terminology thrown at you if you don’t know what it means. So don’t be afraid to say you don’t know what something means and ask questions. After all if things get miscommunicated here that’s where there will be problems.
Don’t underestimate the consultation ❤️
