Luxury hair & beauty salon
Keeping your hair colour fresh between salon visits is mostly about reducing fade, protecting the cuticle, and maintaining moisture. Here are 10 things you can realistically do at home that actually make a difference:
1. Wash less often
Every wash strips pigment slightly. Try stretching washes to 2–3 times per week if you can.
2. Use colour-safe shampoo & conditioner
Look for sulfate-free formulas specifically labeled for colour-treated hair—they’re much gentler on dye.
3. Turn the water temperature down
Hot water opens the hair cuticle and lets colour escape. Lukewarm or cool water helps seal it in.
4. Add a colour-depositing product
A tinted conditioner or mask (matched to your shade) refreshes tone and keeps things vibrant between dyes.
5. Deep condition regularly
Dry hair loses colour faster. A weekly mask helps keep the cuticle smooth and reflective.
6. Protect from heat styling
Always use a heat protectant before tools like straighteners or curling irons—heat fades colour quickly.
7. Limit sun exposure
UV rays break down colour. Hats or UV-protect sprays help, especially in summer or on holiday.
8. Avoid harsh clarifying shampoos
These are great for buildup—but they’ll also pull out your colour fast. Use sparingly.
9. Be careful with chlorine
Pools can fade or even alter colour (especially blonde). Wet your hair first and use a leave-in conditioner before swimming.
10. Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase
Less friction means less damage, which helps colour stay vibrant longer.
I hope this helps ❤️

Rounding up 2025 this year feeling greatful for my growth. Year by year slowly chipping away at goals and dreams. Part of growth is making mistakes I did make some mistakes that cost me a lot this year but I am not scared to admit that. I am more clear than ever on what I want going into 2026 with epton studios and I have some amazing plans ahead.
I’m going to throw my self into my education platform .and.beyond and see where that takes me.
Consistency is an act of self trust and showing up when it is quiet matters more than showing off when it’s loud. Not every client or staff member is ment to come with me and letting go makes room for things to truly align.
2026 is going to be immense with ❤️
I have learnt how important it is to water your team, learn from them and create a space where they can truley thrive. 2026 is going to be all about that.
Life throws s**t at you constantly, if you know me my personal life isn’t always the easiest I have lots of things going on with family bts and about once a month something is thrown at me to test me! At least that’s what I tell my self! I would say my bathroom pipe bursting on Christmas morning and having the biggest leak pouring through the roof whilst opening presents was a huge test 😂😂😂😂 but you know what we had the BEST morning ever! It didn’t matter and it can be fixed, sometimes you need to take a step back to move forward and I can get a lovely new bathroom now! Moral of the story! It’s not all roses! S**t gets hard! That’s where you grow. Enjoy it! ❤️

Breaking my radio silence with some work from today… balancing box dye isn’t always this easy.
Okay first things first the hair under this brown is actually BLONDE so we needed to be very mindful it was already lifted.
Soft lift and a low light *chefs kiss* also instead of trying to shy away from the warmth we added it I toned this with red and gold!

Do you struggle to style your hair at home?
If you do then this might just be the post you need to see !
I held my first ever masterclass for clients who struggle to style their hair at home their self. It was a beautiful evening. And the best part is all the money went to charity from the event. I really wanted to give people something back for their support of my business and the fact they choose to invest in me and support my decision to climb killimajaro in memory of my nana! They all bought a ticket knowing the money was in support of that and them giving their money to support me and the charity just really made me so great-full I thought it would be nice to give something back!
This evening was full of love, support and new knowledge for people. Everyone went home with new knowledge and I went home with a full heart ❤️
If you struggle to do your hair and think you would like to learn more about how to style your hair at home, please comment on this post and let me know! And I will write your name down for the next one 🤩 also you would be giving to charity at the same time which is something that makes you feel good in its self!
This is the start of something beautiful I can feel it!

Is your foil work the strong foundation of the look your creating?
Each piece should be strategically placed. Each brush strategically brushed. Every piece perfectly crafted to create a perfect seamless blend, so you don’t have to rely on something like a tap out for a blend.
Some clients don’t want a tap, it’s not for everyone. So don’t go in blind and just randomly foil.
Foil with purpose.
Use your creativity.
Try something new.
Blend on an angle, create different shapes, have some fun with it.
I have a full tutorial going live on .and.beyond next week if you would like to see more in depth videos on how I create this look then you can subscribe through my website 🤩
