Now > Then…

In five years so much has changed, within the salon, within myself and my life as a whole. If you’ve seen the progression over the years you’ll know that A LOT has changed as I’ve constantly tried to improve the space as I’ve learnt so much along the years! To my clients who have supported me through all these changes - I appreciate you all so much! 🥰

To think I was just a 22 year old girl with a dream, running her own little business with a vision of opening her own salon to now nearly aged 28 celebrating five years is surreal 🥹

I’ve really tried my hardest to make my little shop as special as I can, I’ve poured my heart into it and I hope my passion for what I do shows not just in the salon but my day to day work itself too!

There’s so much that goes into running a business that people don’t see, it can feel very overwhelming at times and like there’s lot of pressure on yourself, trying to manage this and also having a social life, taking care of yourself and basically just living is a lot 🤣
So sometimes things don’t go perfectly or to plan and that’s okay!

I’ve made so many changes to things over the years but it’s because I constantly want to improve the space and experience to make sure our clients love coming in and feel completely at ease 🩷 I might have some crazy ideas sometimes but I promise there’s always a good intention behind it 😂 (thanks if you’ve made it this far!!)

Now for a HUGE thank you to all of my clients, friends and everyone who supports me or has supported me over the years - I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know! You make everything I do so much more worth it and I will forever be grateful for these relationships ❤️

And of course a huge thank you to my amazing team (even those who aren’t with us anymore!!), and my amazing family and boyfriend who support me all the way 🥹

Through the ups and downs of running a business it’s extremely important to remind yourself of what you built from the ground up from nothing all by yourself. Just a girl with a dream and ambitions who worked extremely hard to made it a reality..

Running a business is tough, there’s a lot of things, costs and much more that people don’t show on social media - at the end of the day we’re just real people trying to do the best we can and create the best space and business for their clients! Nobody’s perfect and that’s what makes your business perfect - so let’s normalise mistakes, normalise being human and show the reality of things instead of the perfect version! As we’re all just trying our absolute best 💫
