Girls please remember to not go on the sunbed at least 24 hours post treatment!

Always purchase the Nouveau Lashes Lash & Brow Conditioning Serum as this will keep your lashes nice and hydrated after putting them through a chemical process. I also find it enhances the longevity of your treatment (I can physically tell when you use it).

Also please avoid using face wash with any exfoliating properties as these will 100% dry your lashes out which could lead to snapping or breakage. Always check your ingredients ♥️

First time brow lamination for Ellena!

Ellena won’t mind me sharing that she has very fine, downward pointing hair with some sparse areas around the tails of her brows. Lamination allows to re-sculpt the hairs into a position that enhances the features on your face giving it a really good lift and making your eyes look more open.

We precisely applied the tint to leave a very slight skin stain to try and fill in some of the areas that are sparse. I always finish lamination with a nourishing oil to bond the brows into position whilst the pH of the hair returns to normal so no make up was used here ♥️

We all love a good coffee or shot of caffeine to get us going but it’s really not a good idea to consume it before your lash lift.

It’s really important to make sure I carry out your treatment to a high standard possible. Twitchy and watery eyes can make it very tricky to not only give you the best results possible but also to ensure your safety when working with chemicals so close to the eyes.

I am not mentioning names (because you know who you are) but I have had to es**rt a few girls to the toilet mid treatment and I fully blame coffee consumption 😂

Hybrid tinting doesn’t always need to leave a heavy skin stain or to “too dark”.

Tinting is a really important element of a brow treatment and it’s important to take colour AND depth into consideration.

I own a wardrobe of tints because there are so many on the market (all with their own benefits and differing results). What works for one person won’t work for another but it really does make or break your treatment outcome.

18 months ago I went through a season where I quietly fell out of love with my work. Something just felt “off” and I really couldn’t put my finger on it. I rebranded & redecorated my studio thinking that I would miraculously solve the problem - but it didn’t (obviously).

I could not find the drive or the motivation which I have ALWAYS had….that ability to push forward even in the face of adversity. Something had changed and shifted and I had no idea what to do or how to “fix” the problem. Not because of the job itself - but because the focus had drifted…

From peace to performance
From self-acceptance to external validation

I had to ask myself some really hard questions - “What does a beauty business offer if it only feeds vanity? How can I sell a service to people based on what they look like when I know and believe the value of a person goes far deeper than that?”.

This led me down a rabbit hole…when a problem arises I NEVER just sweep it under the carpet. I sit with it deeply and will not stop until I have found the solution (no matter how hard it is or how long it takes). You see this wasn’t about the job itself. It goes further than that. The world had changed, I had changed and my perception of the industry completely changed with me. Things weren’t falling apart - they were shifting into alignment.

I am rebuilding with intention now.
