So some of you may not know, but I qualified in LVL (lash lifts) back in 2021. However, I just didn’t fall in love with this as a treatment. The lifts were always unreliable, the risk of over-processing terrified me and I just didn’t feel comfortable charging clients if the results weren’t perfect (I am somewhat of a perfectionist). I would never want to provide a service that I didn’t LOVE or one that I wasn’t super passionate about… then Korean Lash Lifts started to hit the market and I was INVESTED 🤓

To make it simple… Korean Lash Lifting formulas are often preferred over others due to its Cysteamine-free and pH-balanced formulation, which is designed to be gentler on the lashes while still achieving effective and long-lasting results. Unlike traditional lash lifting formulas which often use Thioglycolate, Cysteamine-free means it is less likely to cause damage, dryness, or breakage, especially when applied to the delicate lash tips, which is a big NO NO whilst performing the traditional method.

I have already fallen in love with Korean Lash Lifts and I cannot wait to start offering this service 🫶🏼

INFILL OR FULL SET 💭

If you’re unsure what to book in for, please use this as a guide 🫶🏼

INFILL -
An infill is when you have around 40%-60% of lash extensions remaining and this is needed every 2-3 weeks. Anything over 3 weeks is classed as a full set. This is because of our natural lash cycle. Over time, the lash extension will continue to grow out whilst bonded to your natural lash. Because of this, the lash extensions will need to be removed. Even if your lashes still look full at this point, your lash tech cannot leave these on as they may cause damage to your natural lashes. This is why it is important that you book a full set slot so that we have enough time to complete this process. An infill slot will not give us enough time to remove and replace the majority of your lashes.
* I personally recommend 5/6 infills, then a removal & a fresh set. 💫

FULL SET -
Has it been over 3 weeks? Chances are, you will be ready for a fresh set. PLEASE can you ensure that any old lashes are removed prior to your full set appointment. You can do this at home or add a removal to your appointment (I recommend having this done by a professional to prevent damage). This is super important when booking in for a fresh set. If you still have old lashes remaining, these will not last as long as your freshly applied lashes, which will result in poor retention. Please trust me on this. 🙏🏻
* If you come to your full set appointment with old lashes left on, this will eat into your appointment time. If it takes me 20 minutes to remove old lashes, that is 20 minutes of lashing time gone and if I’m back to back, I will not be able to make this time up at the end 🫶🏼
