The biggest mistake I see with lash lifts?
👉 Relying on timings instead of the lash itself

This is exactly where the Korean lash lift methods are different…

Because the processing is slower and more controlled,
you’re not locked into set timings.
You have time to actually perform a proper lash check.

This set needed 20 minutes…
Not because I guessed, but because the lashes weren’t ready before that.

At 10–13 minutes they were still:
❌ resistant
❌ too stiff
❌ not fully softened
The lash check told me everything.

This is how you also avoid:
• under-processing
• weak lifts
• results dropping quickly

Timings are a guide.
The lash is the decision maker.

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided it’s time to step down from my role as a Willow Educator 🌿💙

I first joined Willow around 4 years ago, after training with Lucy post lockdown, and what a journey it’s been!
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of training hundreds of students, some brand new to the industry, starting a whole new career path, and others looking to expand their skills and grow their businesses.
I still laugh when I think back to my very first class… standard Jemma, straight in at the deep end with 16 students in one day 😅. Nerves through the roof, but somehow we made it through. Every class since has been such a joy, and I’m beyond thankful to all the students who’ve trusted me along the way.

There’ve also been amazing memories with my fellow educators and the Willow team from Olympia to Willow HQ trips and those unforgettable Willow Getaways. It’s been such a special chapter of my career, and I’m so grateful to Lucy and the team for the opportunity and the support throughout.

This isn’t goodbye to teaching though ✨ I’ll be focusing more on my own courses and coaching, with lots of exciting things coming including new classes that combine the flexibility of online learning with the personal touch of 1:1 support, plus a brand new online platform.

For now, just a huge thank you to Willow for such an incredible experience! 🌿💙💫

I haven't posted much on here since having Isabelle as she's been keeping me very busy, but I'm slowly starting to plan ahead for the year & can't wait to return to the Academy for in person courses again.

Our online courses have still been running as normal. I've been emailing students, providing support & going through case studies between feeds!

I'm now looking at starting to teach our E-File Courses again soon.
