Hello October!
I can’t believe it’s here already, where does the time go.
Things to remember at your October appointment,
-Our card reader machine won’t be available from the 18th , you will need to bring cash or bank transfer to our business account.
-Christmas is just around the corner so at your next appointment please book your xmaz visit to avoid disappointment.
-We will have more slots opening up on a Wednesday from November.

From the 18th October we will NO longer have a card reader machine available.
All payments will need to be done by bank transfer into business bank account or cash.

🚨Don’t be alarmed 🚨

At your next salon visit we will be doing some things slightly different but please don’t be alarmed !

-We will be asking customers to pay directly into the business bank account via online banking.
( most of you have the details already but we will supply them on the day)

-We will be asking for your home address, email and contact number.
(This is for your invoice of services and data will not be shared)

These Changes are due to the new government regulations and our business is now required to be on a new accounting system SAGE.
This information will allow us to link your payments and make my accountants job easier in the long run.
We would also like to reduce payments going through our card reader machine so we can eventually get rid of it ! All machines cost businesses a lot of money to have and take a percentage out of our profits, which in this current economy we could all do without:)

Baby Ivy arrived 13th July 2026!
Thank you for everyone’s messages , il try and respond when I can. As you can imagine our lives are very VERY different 😜

All is well and enjoying our bubble of three 🙂
Gemma is doing an amazing job at the salon and I hope to be with you all soon 🙂

Officially on maternity leave !

I can’t believe I managed to work right up to 38 weeks but I knew it was time, sorry for anyone I have had to cancel along the way, my fingers & toes turned to sausages in this hot weather so I was unable to cut hair 😞

Thank you all once again for being patient and understanding and I can’t wait to see you all on the other side !

Our lovely Gemma will be looking after you all while I am away but soon as I feel ready to start back , you guys know il be there !

After two days of not feeling 100% I believe it’s time to listen to my body and say enough is enough.
I can’t believe I have got to 37-38 weeks of pregnancy and still been able to work full time & long hours but unfortunately no more!
Il still be pottering around & helping Gemma until I pop.
I believe I have contacted everyone booked in, if I haven’t been in contact, it’s because we didn’t need to change or cancel your appointment so turn up as normal:)
Remember our lovely Gemma is taking over bookings from 1st July , she will be working

It’s so scary to say goodbye to the salon but I am very excited to become a mum and start my next venture in life.
Once again , thank you to everyone’s support, presents & money for baby, it greatly appreciated!
And a massive THANK YOU to our lovely Gemma holding the fort while I am away. You will never know how grateful I am to have found you and for you to be working at Flying colours salon.
