Great News! I feel well….At long last I was eventually taken seriously by a different Neurologist and he agreed Estrogen was seriously affecting my brain. I’m now on new medication that is working! So onwards and upwards.💕
Remember, be your own advocate with the Doctors and Consultants. You know your own body the best. Keep fighting to be heard.

Good news and bad news….
I will start with the bad news and get it out of the way…
A week ago (Friday) I saw my GP. As many of you know I have using myself as a trial patient as I haven’t found a Consultant to help me. My GP and I decided that now that I have been off my Estrogen gel for a couple of months and I haven’t had another attack, it was time to see if we introduced estrogen back into my body would the attacks return. So we decided on a very low dose of it on slow release.
Long story short - after 5 days I was rushed to Royal Stoke with stroke like symptoms.

Good news- because I was in the ward and I still couldn’t find a neurologist who knew what was happening ( I did tell them all about my trial of Estrogen and this had to be the problem, they were not convinced)
So I asked for a second opinion. A neurologist who specialised in migraine came to see me.
And guess what???
I have a sensitivity to Estrogen which is causing Hemiplegic migraines-AT LAST SOMEONE LISTENED TO ME. Phew.😮‍💨
I am now back home and recovering.
I am so sorry that we had to cancel some of our clients whilst I was in hospital. We hate to let you down. We are now hopeful that now I have a diagnosis we can move onwards and upwards! Lots of love Karen and Paul 💕💕💕

⭐️Karen’ health update-⭐️
Morning, we have some good news. Karen has nearly recovered from her stroke like symptoms. Her smile is back and she can open her eyes fully now. Her arm and hand power is slowly coming back. Karen has struggled to get the right medical help, therefore as usual she is doing her own research and trials. This seems to be working but we have to take a phased return back to work. Saying that we are NOW OPEN.
From today if you have an appointment coming up in the diary then Karen will be here to work her magic on your skin!
We are so grateful for all your kind messages of support, cards and presents. As we always say…”We have the BEST clients!” 💕

⭐️Karen’s health update- Due to Karen having to go to hospital yet again on Friday, we have made the decision to STOP all treatments for the foreseeable future.
Some of you know Karen has been battling with unknown immense brain pressure attacks which also effects her arm and hand leaving them unusable with no strength or grip.

The pressure is so intense Karen can hardly open her eyes. As you can see from the photos below- left picture, the Karen we know so well and the pictures on the right- Karen during the latest attack which she has been suffering with since last Wednesday. As you can see she is still really struggling. Not our normal smiling, happy Karen!

Even though she is under a Neurologist we haven’t yet been given a diagnosis or medication that works.

As you can imagine Karen is devastated that she is cancelling all our lovely clients but we are at a loss of what to do as these attacks only happen when Karen is looking down during working on our clients.
So we have contacted the Neurologist again and we wait for a reply and help.
