💙 New for carers in Gloucester.

On Saturday 3 October 2026, there is a launch of CarersActive, a partnership between Carers UK and Parkrun UK.

📍 Gloucester City Park (meet at the Bandstand) ⏰ 8:30am for a 9:00am start

Everyone is welcome, regardless of fitness level.

Do you want to understand more about your child's behaviours? Then come along to our Whispers Training session!

This two part training session is aimed for those Parent Carers who are experiencing child to parent violence or who would like to understand their child's behaviours in more depth.

It is being delivered by Becky Pain-Tolin from Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum in collaboration with Gloucestershire Gateway Trust

Session one Wednesday 7th October will focus on looking at the arousal curve and RAG rating for your Child's arousal levels and behavioural indicators of where their levels of arousal are.

Session two Wednesday 4th November will be an interactive session with the opportunity to refresh learning and refine techniques covered in session one including distraction techniques - what they are and when to use them.

We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. To ensure carers can still access this valuable information and support, we will be offering online sessions on Monday 5th October and Monday 12th October as an alternative.

If you would prefer to attend in person, spaces are also available at our Blakeney sessions.
