That means if you leave your haircut for 3 months, you could have around 3cm of extra growth — although everyone’s hair grows at a slightly different rate.

Before Toni Marlow Barber Shop became what it is today, there was a lot of planning, hard work, nervousness and plenty of “what on earth have I done?!” moments! 😂

From getting the keys, preparing the shop and choosing all the little details, to finally opening the doors and welcoming my very first customers — it’s amazing to look back and see how far things have come.

What started as an idea has become my little barber shop in Stonehouse, and I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way. ❤️

Hi, I’m Toni, the face behind Toni Marlow Barber Shop! 👋

I’m the owner, barber, receptionist, cleaner, tea-maker, social-media manager and pretty much everything else that comes with running a little independent barbershop! 😂

I opened my own shop because I wanted to create somewhere that feels friendly, welcoming and genuinely traditional — somewhere you can sit in the chair, have a proper chat and leave feeling like you’ve had more than just a haircut.

I’m particularly passionate about traditional barbering and creating a relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable, whether you’re a regular customer or walking through my door for the very first time.

You’ll often find me behind the chair with the clippers and scissors in hand… and occasionally talking to my fish Clip, Nip & Snip! 🐟😂

Running a small independent business isn’t always easy, but every new face through the door, every returning customer and every lovely review means so much to me.

As some of you know, I’m a mum of three, and at the moment my eldest needs taking to and from college, which unfortunately means my opening hours have had to be a little more changeable than I’d normally like.

I really do appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while I juggle being a mum and running my little independent barbershop. ❤️
