MY POLICY FOR GEL POLISH & EXTENSIONS ON YOUNG CHILDREN

I do not take clients under the age of 16

📍Children’s nails are paper thin, the risk of damage to their nail plate is far higher.

📍Children have a tendency to pick at there nails, so therefore this would result in them picking of the polish ending in them removing layers of the already thin Nail bed.

📍More prone to infection of the cuticle.

📍Due to being unable to prepare the nail properly the polish will lift and it will not last for the expected time of 3-4 weeks.

📍 UV & LED lamps are used, so have a risk of damaging the child's skin.

📍 During the curing of a polish a hot sensation some times can occur (heat spike) this is perfectly normal and is the chemical reaction happening. This can be uncomfortable and painful for young children.

📍My insurance will not allow me to apply hybrid polish to under 16’s.

Dear Clients 💜

There is only a 15 minute grace period. If you do not arrive within 15 minutes of your allotted appointment time, your appointment is cancelled. If I am able to take you a late arrival fee will be charged to you appointment.

I understand things happen that are out of our control sometimes.

Please communicate with me prior to your appointment if you feel like you are going to be late as I do have clients after your appointment.

Please try to be considerate of my time as I only have a certain amount of blocked out time for my appointments.
