📢 Important Notice – Please Read

Due to recent road changes, Railway Road (from the Mini Asda roundabout up towards Iceland) is now operating as a one-way traffic system for the next few months. This means you can no longer access our road from both directions.

Please allow yourself some extra travel time when coming to your appointment, as traffic is currently moving much slower than usual. What was previously a 5-minute journey may now take 15–20 minutes.

We are incredibly grateful to be fully booked, but this also means we have to keep to a strict appointment schedule. We can allow a maximum of 5 minutes’ grace if you’re running late. Unfortunately, if you arrive more than 5 minutes late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled to another date.

Alternative Parking:
There is a free, unlimited-time car park directly behind McDonald’s, just a 2-minute walk from the salon, which may be a more convenient option during these roadworks.

☀️ Summer Waxing Safety Reminder ☀️

With the warm weather finally here, please take extra care of your skin before your waxing appointment.

⚠️ If your skin is sunburnt, we will be unable to carry out your waxing treatment. Waxing over sun-damaged skin can cause further irritation, lifting of the skin, and discomfort.

To ensure the safest and most comfortable treatment:
✨ Avoid excessive sun exposure 24-48hrs before your appointment.
✨ Wear SPF daily on exposed areas.
✨ Wait until any redness, peeling, or sunburn has completely healed before booking your wax.

Follow all aftercare advice to protect freshly waxed skin.

✨ Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 24–48 hrs after waxing.
✨ Always apply SPF to exposed areas to protect freshly waxed skin.
✨ Avoid sunbeds, hot tubs, saunas, and excessive sweating for 24 hours.
✨ Wear loose, breathable clothing to prevent irritation.
✨ Keep skin clean and moisturised with gentle, fragrance-free products.
